The BPS65-12, a product of the BPS series, is a 12V valve-regulated lead-acid battery manufactured by B.B. Battery, with an extensive capacity range covering 5 to 230Ah to meet different energy requirements. This battery adopts an impact-resistant ABS plastic case, ensuring structural durability. The battery cover is tightly connected to the case, and the terminal area is sealed to effectively prevent electrolyte leakage. The six filling holes on the battery cover are used for electrolyte filling during production, after which a pressure relief valve made of non-combustible materials is installed. This design significantly enhances the battery's fire and explosion safety rating.
This series of batteries uses positive and negative plates coated with a paste-like coating and advanced AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) technology, enabling efficient gas recombination, thus ensuring the battery is completely maintenance-free throughout its lifespan without the need for electrolyte addition. The battery has an extremely low self-discharge rate, with monthly capacity loss below 3%. It supports horizontal and vertical installation, providing great flexibility for equipment integration. The BPS65-12 model has a nominal capacity of 65Ah at the 20-hour rate, 61.75Ah at the 10-hour rate, and 55.25Ah at the 5-hour rate. Its DC internal resistance is only 5 milliohms, with a maximum discharge current of up to 650 amps, and it is recommended that the maximum charging current does not exceed 19.5 amps.
The BPS65-12 battery has a wide operating temperature range, with a charging temperature between 0°C and 40°C, stable operation at -20°C to 50°C during discharge, and storage temperature range of -20°C to 40°C. Its physical dimensions are 350 mm in length, 166 mm in width, and 174 mm in height, with a weight of approximately 22.4 kg, and it is equipped with a handle for easy handling and installation. The terminals are standard B5 type, with M6 bolts and nuts available for selection, and type I2 is also provided as an optional configuration.
