Product details
The BPS100-12BPS Series is a 12V Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA) battery carefully designed by B.B. Battery, adopting an integrated structure with a capacity range from 5Ah to 230Ah, meeting power requirements for different scenarios. The battery shell is made of sturdy, durable, opaque, and impact-resistant ABS plastic, ensuring reliable protection even in complex environments. The battery cover is firmly combined with the shell, and the terminal area is tightly sealed to effectively prevent electrolyte leakage. Depending on the series, terminals are available in various types such as B3 and I2.During the production process, the electrolyte is safely filled through the six holes on the battery cover, followed by installing a dedicated pressure relief valve made of non-combustible materials. This design not only achieves a high level of fire and explosion safety but also ensures the stable release of internal battery pressure.
Both the positive and negative plates of the battery use advanced paste coating technology combined with Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, achieving efficient gas recombination, effectively reducing water loss, and truly being maintenance-free without the need for regular addition of distilled water. Its self-discharge rate is extremely low, with a monthly capacity loss of less than 3%, making it suitable for long-term standby storage.Flexible installation is a major highlight of the BPS series. The battery can be safely installed in horizontal or vertical positions, providing great convenience for equipment integration. The standard handle design makes the handling and installation process easier and faster.
Regarding performance, the BPS100-12 model has a nominal capacity of 100Ah at the 20-hour rate, 85Ah at the 5-hour rate, and 95Ah at the 10-hour rate, providing stable and long-lasting power output. Its maximum discharge current can reach 800 amperes within 5 seconds, and the maximum charging current is 30 amperes, demonstrating strong instantaneous power and efficient charging acceptance. The internal resistance of the battery is as low as 4.5 milliohms (when fully charged), helping to reduce energy loss.A wide operating temperature range gives it extremely strong adaptability. It can be charged in an environment of 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F), and can discharge at temperatures ranging from -20°C to 50°C (-4°F to 122°F). The storage temperature range is -20°C to 40°C (-4°F to 104°F), ensuring reliable operation in both extreme cold and heat conditions.
The BPS series batteries, with their excellent reliability, have become an ideal power source for numerous critical application scenarios. It is particularly suitable for providing continuous power protection for low-power uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), fire and safety alarm systems, emergency lighting and monitoring systems, access control systems, and various precision medical devices. In the infrastructure field, it is widely used in power supply networks, the power industry, mining, oil and gas operations, telecommunication facilities, and rural estates in remote areas. At the same time, it also perfectly fits the equipment of hotels, restaurants, and cafes (HORECA), and plays an important role in renewable energy systems, such as energy storage units for solar photovoltaic panels and wind power systems, as well as auxiliary power sources for some electric vehicles. For applications requiring backup for 30 minutes or longer, the BPS series is a proven recommended choice.
With an expected service life of over 12 years and meeting Eurobat's standards for long-life batteries, the BPS series provides long-term investment value to users. Its compact physical dimensions (length approximately 329mm, width 172mm, container height 215mm, total height between 218.5mm and 238mm depending on terminal type) and a weight of approximately 32.7kg allow efficient deployment even in limited spaces. The initial torque of the terminal hardware is 5.5 N·m ±5%, ensuring a stable and safe electrical connection. Detailed constant-current discharge characteristic data indicate that at different termination voltages (e.g., 1.75V/cell) and discharge times (from 15 minutes to 20 hours), the battery can provide stable and predictable current output, ensuring the accuracy of system design and the controllability of operation.
