Product details
BPL33-12 Finger Type Battery is a 12V integral lead-acid battery in the B.B. Battery VRLA series, with a nominal capacity of 33 Ah (20-hour rate). This maintenance-free battery features an opaque, impact-resistant ABS plastic case. The battery cover is firmly connected to the case and ensures a sealed terminal area, effectively preventing electrolyte leakage and achieving a free-acid-free safety design. Its terminal type is standard B7, terminal position is 8, and I2 is also provided as an optional terminal type to meet the connection needs of different equipment.
In the technical aspect, BPL33-12 adopts advanced Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) separator technology, which not only enables efficient gas recombination but also ensures a low self-discharge rate, allowing the battery to maintain sufficient charge even after long-term storage. The six holes on the battery cover are used for filling electrolyte during production, followed by installing a pressure relief valve made of non-combustible materials, which significantly enhances the product's fire and explosion safety, giving users greater peace of mind. Both positive and negative plates are coated with a specially formulated paste coating, further optimizing the battery's performance and stability.
Regarding installation, this battery is designed flexibly and can be safely installed in horizontal and vertical positions (inverted use is prohibited), providing convenience for equipment integration. With its compact dimensions of 195 mm (7.68 inches) in length, 129 mm (5.08 inches) in width, 168 mm (6.61 inches) in height, and a total height of 179 mm (7.05 inches), and weighing approximately 11.5 kg (25.36 lbs), it is easy to deploy in space-constrained environments.
In terms of performance, besides the 33Ah capacity at the 20-hour rate, its capacity at the 5-hour rate is 28.05Ah, and at the 30-minute rate is 16.5Ah, making it particularly suitable for scenarios requiring short-term high-power support.According to Eurobat standards, BPL series batteries have an expected service life of up to 12 years under normal operating conditions, falling into the category of long-life batteries. B.B. Battery's VRLA batteries have a wide capacity range from 3.3Ah to 210Ah, meeting diverse power requirements.
The BPL33-12 and its series counterparts are ideal power sources for low-power uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), fire and safety alarm systems, emergency lighting and monitoring systems, access control systems, and various electronic medical devices. They are also widely used in power supply networks, the power industry, mining, oil and gas, telecommunications facilities, rural estates, hotel, catering, and retail equipment, as well as renewable energy systems (such as solar and wind energy storage). In terms of transportation, it is commonly found in equipment such as golf carts, electric wheelchairs, and lawn mowers. For application scenarios requiring a backup time of 30 minutes or longer, this battery is a proven and reliable choice.
