Zelus GBC series GBC6/180B.B. battery is a valve-regulated lead-acid battery using gel electrolyte technology. Its core lies in mixing sulfuric acid with silica fume to form a gel-like and immobile electrolyte mass. This GEL technology almost eliminates the common electrolyte evaporation and overflow problems of traditional flooded batteries, thus effectively avoiding the corrosion caused by them and endowing the battery with more excellent performance, including stronger resistance to extreme temperatures, impact, and vibration. The built-in valve adjustment system of the battery can safely discharge the generated gas.Its structure is similar to wet batteries, but uses calcium instead of antimony in the lead plates, while retaining excellent mechanical properties, significantly reducing the gas evolution tendency.
GBC series batteries provide an overall voltage of 6V or 12V, with a wide capacity range from 5.75 Ah to 180 Ah.
