The GB12/160B.B. battery in the Zelus GB series is a valve - regulated sealed lead - acid battery (VRLA) using gel electrolyte technology. Its core technology lies in mixing sulfuric acid with silicon powder to form a gel - like and immobile electrolyte. This unique gel technology almost completely avoids the common electrolyte evaporation and overflow phenomena in traditional flooded batteries, thereby effectively preventing corrosion problems caused by acid leakage.Meanwhile, gel batteries demonstrate greater environmental adaptability, being able to better withstand extreme temperatures, shocks and vibrations, ensuring stable power supply under various harsh conditions. The battery adopts a valve - regulated design, allowing safe venting of internal generated gases. Its grid uses solid lead coating technology and replaces traditional antimony alloy with calcium alloy. This improvement, while maintaining excellent mechanical strength, significantly reduces the battery's self - discharge rate and gas evolution rate, resulting in a more stable and durable structure. The GB12/160 model provides a standard voltage of 12 volts. Its nominal capacity is 160 Ah at a 20-hour rate (C20) and 152 Ah at a 10-hour rate (C10), meeting capacity requirements under different discharge rates. The physical dimensions of the battery are 522 mm in length, 202 mm in width, and 216 mm in height, with a total height of 219.5 mm and a net weight of approximately 55 kg. The standard terminal type is B9, and users can also choose type I3 terminals as needed.
