Product details
B.B. Battery's BP26-12 is a high-performance product in the BP series of Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA) batteries, specifically designed for scenarios requiring long-term stable power supply. This battery adopts a sturdy, opaque, impact-resistant ABS plastic case, with the battery cover firmly connected to the case. The terminal area is sealed to ensure safe and reliable use. Its top pillar terminal design facilitates easy installation and connection. After filling the electrolyte into the six filling holes on the battery cover during production, pressure relief valves made of non-combustible materials are installed. This significantly enhances the battery's fire and explosion safety ratings, and users need not worry about maintenance or electrolyte leakage issues.
The nominal voltage of BP26-12 is 12 volts, with a nominal capacity of 26.0 ampere-hours at a 20-hour rate, providing long-lasting power support for equipment. Its low self-discharge characteristics are excellent, with a monthly self-discharge rate of less than 3%, making it highly suitable for scenarios requiring long-term standby or periodic use. The battery uses paste-type positive and negative plates inside, ensuring stable electrochemical performance. It performs exceptionally well in environmental adaptability, supporting discharge within a wide temperature range of -20°C to 50°C, with a charging temperature range of 0 to 40°C and a storage temperature range of -20 to 40°C, adapting to various complex environments. Its compact size design, with dimensions of 175 mm in length, 166 mm in width, 125 mm in height, weighing approximately 9.4 kg, plus support for both horizontal and vertical installation methods, provides great flexibility for users in cabinet or equipment layout.
In terms of electrical performance, BP26-12 demonstrates strong instantaneous power supply capability, with a maximum discharge current of 390 amps within 5 seconds, meeting the needs of equipment startup or sudden load demands. Meanwhile, its maximum charging current is 7.8 amps, supporting efficient recharging. The standard terminal of the battery is Type B1, connected using M5 bolts and nuts, with an initial tightening torque of 2.5 N·m, and provides T2 and I1 as optional terminals to meet different wiring requirements. According to Eurobat standards, BP series batteries have an expected service life of 8 to 10 years under normal usage conditions, falling into the category of long-life batteries, which is attributed to its excellent design and manufacturing processes.
The typical application scenarios of this battery are very extensive, making it an ideal backup power source for key systems such as low-power uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), telecommunication systems, distribution boards, security alarm systems, medical equipment, photovoltaic systems, and emergency lighting. It is particularly recommended for scenarios requiring backup power supply of 30 minutes or longer. In addition, it is also suitable for power networks, power industry, mining, oil and gas, rural real estate, hotels, stores, and other multiple fields, providing safe and uninterrupted power support for various key loads, ensuring business continuity and safe and stable operation of equipment.
