BP17-12 is a high-performance 12V battery from the B.B. Battery BP series of Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA) batteries. This battery features an impact-resistant ABS plastic shell, with the battery cover firmly connected to the shell for structural stability. The terminal area is professionally sealed to effectively prevent electrolyte leakage. The battery cover is designed with six filling holes. During production, electrolyte is filled through these holes, followed by the installation of a pressure relief valve made of non-combustible materials, which significantly enhances the battery's fire and explosion safety. Whether installed vertically or horizontally, BP17-12 operates stably, offering users flexible installation options.
In terms of technical specifications, the nominal voltage of BP17-12 is 12 volts, with a nominal capacity of 17.0 Ah at a 20-hour rate, and its weight is approximately 6.15 kg. The positive and negative plates inside the battery use a paste coating process, ensuring stable electrochemical performance. Its internal resistance is only 16 mΩ when fully charged, the maximum discharge current can reach 255 A within 5 seconds, and the maximum charging current is 5.1 A.
