Zelus GFT Series GFT12/150B.B. battery is a valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) front-end battery with gelled electrolyte. Its core technology lies in mixing sulfuric acid with silica fume to form a gel-like and immobile electrolyte mass. This gel battery design almost completely eliminates the electrolyte evaporation and overflow issues common in traditional wet batteries, thereby avoiding the subsequent corrosion risks. Meanwhile, it exhibits stronger tolerance in extreme temperature, impact, and vibration environments. The battery's valve regulation system can safely discharge the internally generated gas.Structurally, it is similar to unsealed wet batteries, but the antimony in the lead plates is replaced by calcium. This key improvement retains the excellent mechanical properties of the lead plates while significantly reducing the battery's tendency to generate gas during use. The GFT12/150 model is produced with an overall voltage of 12 volts and a nominal capacity of 150 ampere-hours (based on the 10-hour rate discharge standard). Its design is very flexible, supporting both horizontal and vertical installation methods, making it easy to deploy under various space constraints. Under normal operating conditions, this battery has an expected service life of up to 15 years and also features excellent cycle performance, supporting up to 2500 deep discharge cycles.According to Eurobat standards, its service life falls into the 'very long' category, thanks to its deep cycle design using solid lead coating technology and gel electrolyte, aiming to provide maximum capacity and optimal cycle discharge performance. The battery is equipped with a patented safety valve, which can precisely control the internal pressure, further effectively extending the overall service life of the battery.
