Product details

FTB100-12 (Central Ventilation Type) is a VRLA valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery product launched by B.B. Battery, belonging to the FTB (Front Terminal Battery) series. This series of batteries is designed and manufactured with a nominal voltage of 12V, with a capacity range spanning 100 to 180 Ah, specifically developed to meet the stringent requirements of long-term reliability and high energy in telecommunications applications. Its sturdy, opaque, impact-resistant ABS plastic casing provides excellent physical protection, and the battery cover is firmly integrated with the casing, with the terminal area reliably sealed to ensure the safety of the overall structure. Its prominent front terminal design concentrates the terminals on the front of the battery. This innovative layout allows it to perfectly fit standard 19-inch or 23-inch cabinets and racks, greatly simplifying system integration, space planning, and subsequent maintenance of the battery bank. In terms of internal structure, the battery adopts absorbent glass fiber separator technology, effectively promoting oxygen recombination and thus reducing water loss. Both the positive and negative plates use high-performance paste coating technology, ensuring stable and efficient electrochemical reactions. The battery cover is equipped with six process holes for electrolyte filling during production, and then a one-way self-sealing safety valve made of non-combustible materials is installed. These pressure relief valves work in conjunction with flame suppressors to collectively provide a high level of fire and explosion safety protection, which is crucial for ensuring the safe operation of the equipment. To facilitate installation and handling, the battery is specially designed with a handle, and a ribbed structure is used to ensure its mechanical strength in various installation postures, supporting flexible installation in horizontal or vertical directions. In terms of performance parameters, the FTB100-12 has a 10-hour rate discharge capacity of 102 Ah at standard temperature, 100 Ah at 8-hour rate, and a strong output of 66 Ah at 1-hour rate, which fully meets the power requirements in different discharge scenarios. Its compact size design, with dimensions of 394 mm in length, 110 mm in width, and 287 mm in height, and a weight of approximately 36.8 kg, enables efficient energy deployment in limited spaces. According to Eurobat standards, this series of batteries has an expected service life of up to 15 years under normal floating charge conditions, falling into the category of very long-life batteries. With its stable performance, user-friendly front-end design, and long service life, the FTB series batteries have become an ideal power solution for many key application fields. They are widely used in telecommunication facilities, central computer rooms, broadband network equipment, medium and low power UPS systems, and power supply networks in the power industry. In addition, it is also applicable to railway signaling systems, on-site power supply for oil and gas extraction, fire protection and safety alarm systems, emergency lighting and video surveillance systems, access control and building management systems, critical medical equipment, as well as energy storage for renewable energy sources such as solar and wind energy, providing reliable backup or main power support for rural estates, hotels, stores, and even electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
